1. What is traveling?
Make the most out of life by exploring the world. Enter new locations and try doing a little bit of everything. Stay for a few hours or take a few years.
2. Why travel?
Life is short and you only live once, make the most out of it. Some have a hunger to try new things while others may just want to get out of the house. There are many routes to the same destination. Some travel for fun, others for work. Some enjoy expensive luxury travel while others travel on a budget. The important step is to take action.
3. How do I travel?
Anything goes. Travel alone or with a group. Plan out your route or wing it. I have done it all and have to say each has its advantages and disadvantages so try every combination.
4. With whom do I travel?
Family, friends, strangers, alone, all is fair game. Again, there are advantages and disadvantages to each.
5. Where do I travel?
The world is your playground. Taste test every type of place. Do not become complacent and only stick to a few destinations.
6. When is the best time to travel?
Each destination varies so conduct research beforehand. For those living in the US, try to avoid the summer months (late May – August) and winter break (late December – January) since school is out and everyone is driving up the price of tickets. However, the summer months may be a good time for road-trips. For those living on the East Coast, avoid winter (November – early March) since snow can ruin all of your plans.
